I think that prevents older generations from using many of today’s tools is fear & pride. I think they fear the complexity, are overwhelmed by the versatility of newer tech, and are embarrassed that people who are considerably younger seem to have a wealth of knowledge & experience with something that’s completely foreign to them. They may feel they should be the one’s teaching.
